Nick Jonas Stopped At The Mumbai Airport

Nick Jonas experienced a moment of inconvenience at the Mumbai airport when his team accidentally left behind his tickets after the Lollapalooza India 2024 event over the weekend. The singer, accompanied by his Jonas Brothers, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas, for the performance, was spotted departing Mumbai on Sunday night.

A video shared by a paparazzo captured the incident, showing Nick patiently waiting as his team worked to resolve the ticket mishap, causing an unexpected delay at Mumbai airport security.

Nick, who is married to Priyanka Chopra, had made a special visit to Mumbai as part of the Jonas Brothers for their first-ever performance in India during the weekend. The concert featured nostalgic throwbacks to the Camp Rock era, with the Jonas Brothers treating the audience to songs from their early albums, followed by hits like “Sucker” and “Waffle House.”

During the performance, Nick showcased his solo repertoire with captivating renditions of “Close,” “Jealous,” and “Maan Meri Jaan,” where he invited rapper King to join him on stage. Joe Jonas also impressed the crowd with his solo work with DNCE, performing “Toothbrush” and “Cake By The Ocean,” eliciting enthusiastic participation from the audience.

A memorable moment occurred when Joe affectionately introduced Nick as India’s ‘jiju’ (brother-in-law), prompting the crowd to chant ‘jiju’ in a heartwarming display of affection. Although Priyanka Chopra couldn’t attend the performance, she expressed her gratitude on Instagram Stories, sharing a video of fans chanting ‘jiju’ with the caption, “My heart (red heart and teary-eyed emojis) Thank you Mumbai.” The incident at the airport added an unexpected twist to Nick’s visit, creating a memorable chapter in his Mumbai experience.
