For a few weeks rumors have been on that the makers of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming entertainer Lion directed by Atlee would replace Nayanatara and rope in Samantha as Nayanatara had problems adjusting her call sheets. It is known that the makers first planned to cast Samantha opposite Shah Rukh Khan but she rejected the offer saying that she would concentrate on extending her family.
But now it is coming out that Nayanatara adjusted her dates and she will star in Shah Rukh Khan’s film Lion. The roles played by Nayanatara and Shah Rukh Khan also came out. A sources shares “Nayanthara is still very much a part of the film. She has not quit,” and she will be seen as Shah Rukh Khan’s lover.
Shah Rukh is playing dual roles and the source revealed “The movie’s premise is about this one man (played by SRK) who leads a group of wrongly accused female jail mates (played by Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and others) and turns them into a group of vigilantes fighting against social evils. Nayanthara plays the top cop investigating the case and it’s her versus Shah Rukh in the film, but they also play love interests,”
