Director Nag Ashwin who made his debut with Nani’s ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ movie scored a massive hit with his second movie ‘Mahanati’, a biopic based on the times and life of legendary actress Savitri. After a long gap, the young director is coming up with a sci-fi drama ‘Project K’ which features Prabhas in the lead role and Deepika Padukone as the heroine.
Made on a lavish budget of over 400 crores, the movie’s shooting is underway and expected to hit the screens in 2024. As there are no regular updates from the movie, fans are a bit disappointed and asked Nag Ashwin about the status of the movie.
When asked the same, Nag Ashwin said, “The film will completely be new. The story is fresh. Everything about the movie is new. The cars, buildup, sets and cars, everything is new. We are creating everything afresh, for the movie,” said the director, confirming that the audiences will have a never before seen visual experience in the movie.
Touted to be a time travel movie, ‘Project K’ also features the legendary Amitabh Bachchan in an important role in the movie. Bankrolled by the prestigious Vyjayanthi Movies banner, the movie would have a Pan world release.
