Stars Sparkles
Navadeep performed well showcasing his talent bringing in different kinds of expressions and emotions making use of the opportunity to the optimum. However, he should still improve his emotions and dialogue delivery at times in a couple of scenes.
Poojitha Ponnada attracted with her cute and hot looks. She however got very little role and did not get much scope to show her talent. The makers should have used her talent even more.
Amit Tiwari of Big Boss fame did well in his role and made a good impact. Venkat also looked fit and did his role well as police.
Shafi Manali Rathode, Kausalya, Madhu Nandan, Kireeti Damaraju, Bhanusri did full justice to their limited roles according to the story.
Director’s Special
Director Lakshmikanth Chenna came with an interesting story and tried to generate interest in dealing with the psychological traits. He did well starting off the narration in an interesting manner and blending the story with thrilling elements with psychological problems and murder mystery.
Lakshmikanth Chenna however lost steam in the middle and increased confusion with his story and screenplay introducing numerous characters. Apart from it, he finished off the pre-climax and climax scenes in a hurry after taking his own sweet time for other scenes in the middle, which tested the patience of the viewers.
Had Lakshmikanth Channa finetuned the script and the story and narrated it with clarity of thought and mind, Run would have made a better impact.
Technical
Naresh Kumaran scored a couple of tunes. The film has no songs but a couple comes in the background. These are in sync with the storyline. However, Naresh elevated the scenes with his powerful background music.
Sajeesh Rajendran impressed with his cinematography. He used good camera angles and lighting to make a good impact on the viewers.
Editing could have been better as there are many drags and few unnecessary scenes in the middle. Production values are good.
Viewers Verdict
Run turns out to be rotten.
