Malayalam star Mohanlal’s 2013 film, Drishyam went on to become a blockbuster at the box office. The film was remade in later remade in Telugu and Tamil along with seven Indian languages. Drishyam was even remade in foreign languages like Sinhala and Chinese. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Drishyam also stars actress Meena in Mohan Lal’s wife role.
A couple of months back, director Jeethu Joseph announced a sequel to this acclaimed thriller. The film’s regular shooting kick-started a few weeks ago in Kochi. To join the film’s shooting, actress Meena with all the Covid safety precautions landed to Kochi this morning. As per the reports, in the fresh schedule, a few crucial scenes will be canned on Mohan Lal and Meena.
Sources reveal that along with Mohan Lal and Meena, several new characters will be introduced in the sequel and this time the sequel has high chances to be dubbed in other South languages.
