Director Ajay Bhupathi, known for his work in ‘RX 100,’ is all set to deliver an exciting and chilling narrative in his upcoming film ‘Mangalavaaram.’ The movie, scheduled for a theatrical release on November 17, will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, and it’s already making waves due to its intriguing trailer.
The story unfolds in an ill-fated village where a gruesome murder occurs every Tuesday, instilling fear in multiple characters. As one character, Muralidhar Goud, puts it, “The heart is popping out of the mouth.” Ajay Ghosh appears perplexed, and panic grips many as they run for their lives.
The trailer also introduces Payal Rajput, portraying what seems to be an abused and sexually harassed character, whose love life appears to be in turmoil, possibly entangled with a predator. Chaitanya Krishna and other male characters convey their anger and intensity.
The thriller is produced by Swati Reddy Gunupathi and Suresh Verma of Mudhra Media Works, along with Ajay Bhupathi of A Creative Works. The trailer promises an engaging experience. Music composer Ajaneesh Loknath, known for ‘Kantara’ and ‘Virupaksha,’ adds to the film’s intrigue.
A romantic song titled ‘Emayyindho Emito’ has already been released, featuring Payal and Ajmal Amir. Notable actors Sritej and Nandita Swetha play pivotal roles in the film. With Dasarathi Shivendra as the director of photography, ‘Mangalavaaram’ is set for a pan-India release. The film’s art direction and production design are handled by Mohan Talluri and Raghu Kulkarni, respectively. Real Satish and Prithvi are the fight masters, and the National Award recipient Raja Krishnan serves as the sound designer.
