A film is the combination of Tamil star Suriya and director Vetri Maaran was already announced a few months ago. Titled Vaadivasal, the project was supposed to take off in November.
But from the past few days, news has been circulating that the project was shelved and it is the reason for Suriya confirming his next with director Pandiraj. Responding to the speculations, Vaadivasal producer Kalaippuli S Thanu said that the project is very much on track and will commence shooting soon.
Vaadivasal is based on Chellappa’s novel on Jallikattu. GV Prakash has been roped in the compose music for the film.
