KGF 2 is in the final leg of shoot and the movie unit has announced that the entire shoot will be wrapped by the end of October. The makers of the Yash starrer have reportedly locked the potential release date of the film.
As per reports, January 14th has been locked as the potential release date of KGF 2. The final decision in this regard will be taken based on situation pertaining to Covid-19 regulations and theatrical business at that point in time.
The producers of KGF 2 feel that releasing the film during the Sankranthi holiday season will boost the box office prospects.
KGF 2 will be one of the biggest films to be out in theaters after the theaters are re-opened and the stakes are really high on the project. The Telugu theatrical rights of the Prashant Neel directorial are valued at Rs 40 crores.
Also, the fact that KGF 2 will be the first pan India film to be out in theaters amid the Covid-19 pandemic is an interesting one.
