‘Laggam’ is a movie produced by Venugopal Reddy under Subhishi Entertainments. Ramesh Cheppala, who gained fame as a director with the movie ‘Bhimadevarapalli Branch’, is writing and directing this movie. Sai Ronak and Ganvi Laxman are playing the lead pair. Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad will be seen in a pivotal role.
The film was launched today in Hyderabad. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, speaking on the occasion, said, “I am playing a role that no one will ever forget. ‘Laggam’ is going to be unique. It is special that I am doing such a great role in this movie. This is the best in my career since ‘Pelli Pusthakam’. These stories will connect to all the Telugu people. The film is going to be a sumptuous meal to the audience.”
Director Ramesh Cheppala said, “Marriage is not the meeting of two families. It is a meeting of two minds. I am going to give a solid ‘dawat’. Charan Arjun is giving music for this film. Bonthala Nageswara Reddy is the editor. ‘Baby’ film cameraman Bal Reddy is providing the cinematography.”
Regular shooting will be held from February 5. “With this movie, we are going to give the audience an unforgettable treat. Along with entertainment, and emotions in this movie, the portrayal of the Telangana wedding culture and other aspects will remind everyone of their marriage. It will inspire unmarried people to get married,” Sai Ronak said.
