The no-nonsense blockbuster director Koratala Siva is a frustrated man these days. It was his dream to do a movie with Megastar Chiranjeevi and direct him. His dream was fulfilled with Acharya abut now that dream has turned into a nightmare.
Due to the pandemic, the shoot of Acharya got stalled after completing 40% of the shooting. In meanwhile Koratala was working to develop some more scripts and he also announced his next with Allu Arjun which is going to be a pan-Indian film to be made on a massive budget. But that film can only start rolling after Acharya.
Acharya’s shoot was supposed to start this week but Megastar contracted the deadly coronavirus this week and this has upset Koratala’s plans again. Ram Charan who is playing a special role in this film is also busy with the completion of Rajamouli’s RR and there is no clarity when he will join the shoot of Acharya. Koratala has already wasted more than a year on this project and insiders say that somehow he has lost interest in this project.
The latest reports suggest that the film’s shoot now has been pushed to post-Sankranthi. Koratala Siva’s position right now is, he can’t spit it out neither he can swallow it in. Let’s hope everything falls in place soon and Koratala delivers the biggest hit of his career surpassing Srimanthudu.
