Though the Indian government permission to re-open single screens and multiplexes across the country, filmmakers and distributor chain in all film industries are not daring fora theatrical release of their films.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that as Diwali festival weekend is ahead, the makers of a small Tamil film titled, Irandam Kuththu is gearing up for a release in the theatres. As per the reports, the film has also wrapped up its censor formalities and passed with A certificate.
Touted as an adult comedy, Irandam Kuththu is said to be a sequel to superhit Iruttu Arayil Murattu Kuththu.
The film is directed and produced by Santhosh Jayakumar and has Karishma, Akriti, Danny, Motta Rajendran, Ravi Maria, Chaams, and Manobala in prominent roles.
Will the youth audience get attract to Irandam Kuththu and make it a hit during these Covid testing times, remains to be seen.
