Surprise, surprise, surprise. Director Trivikram Srinivas seems to have finalised Keerthy Suresh for his next with Jr NTR or Tarak. The film that is being produced by S Radhakrishna and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram will be Tarak’s 30th film and goes without saying his fans have been waiting to see Trivikram and Tarak together again.
In the past, Trivikram had directed Tarak in Aravinda Sametha which had a lukewarm response at the box-office. #NTR30 will be made under Harika Hassine banner and NTR Arts banner.
Initially, Rashmi Mandanna was being considered to play the lead opposite Tarak. But the latest update from the team is that Keerthy Suresh will in all probability play the heroine.
It is known that NTR is busy with Rajamouli’s RRR, in which Ram Charan and Tarak play freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem respectively.
As for Keerthy Suresh, she has just had a dud in Miss India which had an OTT release. The film showed Keerthy Suresh as a female entrepreneur who makes her mark with her brand of tea.
She is also playing the lead opposite Mahesh Babu in Sarkaru Vari Paata. But Mahesh fans have been quite vocal about the pairing and want the director Parusuram to consider a more glamorous girl opposite Mahesh.
#NTR30 is set for summer 2021 release and the tentative title is said to be Ainanu poyiravale Hastinaku. Looks like Trivikram continues to be obsessed with long titles.
