Tamil star hero Karthi who enjoys a massive fan following in Telugu recently came out with the action entertainer ‘Sardaar’. The movie which was released along with ‘Prince’, ‘Ginna’, and ‘Ori Devuda’ ended up as an average grosser at the box office.
The movie collected Rs 7 crores by the end of its full run and the movie is all set for an OTT release. The Telugu OTT giant AHA has bagged the Telugu and Tamil digital rights of the movie. As per the sources, ‘Sardaar’ will stream on AHA from 18th November.
Written and directed by PS Mithran, the movie deals with a burning issue related to packed drinking water as the key concept. Co-starring Chukey Pandey in the antagonist role, Sardar also has actress Liala and heroine Raashi Khanna in prominent roles. Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios banner released the Telugu version of Sardar.
