Kareena Kapoor Khan recently wrapped up the shoot for Lal Singh Chaddha also starring Aamir Khan. She has also come back from a relaxed holiday in Dharmashala with hubby Saif Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor and of course little Taimur Ali Khan.
Kareena Kapoor is due for delivery in March 2021 and from the looks of it, she seems to be binge-watching some interesting series on Netflix. But one series seems to have really cast its spell on the mother-to-be.
In fact, Kareen Kapoor has herself revealed the same in her instagram post and went ga-ga about it. She even placed claps and heart emojis along with the post. So, the mini-series is called The Queen’s Gambit. Ms Khan calls it the “best show ever” and adds she is “100 per cent blown” by what she has watched.
And her gushing does not stop there. She wondered if we also had a similar show back at home?” “Can someone please make this here? Anyone listening?” she added.
The 7-episode first season of The Queen’s Gambit was recently released and it became an instant hit with the viewers. It is being said that the fans are already wanting the next season.
The Queen’s Gambit is based on a 1983 novel by Walter Tevis and the principle character in the film is played by Anya Taylor-Joy, who reprises the role of Beth Harmon. The series tracks the story of Beth Harmon, a chess prodigy who struggles with addictions during the Cold War era.
Since the suggestion comes from Ms Khan herself, the series might have increased fan-base in India.
