Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, the popular Telugu actor, recently tasted success with his film “Bimbisara” after a long wait. Kalyan Ram had previously scored a hit with “Pataas” but had to wait for six to seven years to achieve another success with “Bimbisara.” Despite releasing amidst low hype, the film created a sensation at the box office, emerging as Kalyan Ram’s career-best hit.
The success of “Bimbisara” had Kalyan Ram and his fans in jubilation, and he even announced plans for sequels to the movie. In an exciting development, Kalyan Ram had also planned to rope in his cousin, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr. (NTR), in one of the sequels, generating significant anticipation among the audience.
However, due to the failure of Kalyan Ram’s film “Amigos,” he seems to have reconsidered his decision of making sequels to “Bimbisara.” The unexpected outcome of “Amigos” appears to have led Kalyan Ram to call off the idea of continuing the story of “Bimbisara” with sequels.
