Kajal Aggarwal, the star heroine, made headlines with her recent comments on the differences between the South and Hindi film industries. In an interview, she expressed her preference for the ecosystem, values, ethics, and discipline of the South industry, which she feels are lacking in Hindi cinema.
While her statement drew mixed reactions on social media, it is noteworthy that the South Indian film industry, which was once overlooked, has gained much appreciation and recognition in recent years following the massive success of blockbuster movies such as Baahubali, KGF, RRR, Pushpa, and Kantaara.
