Jagapathi Babu’s role in Republic revealed

Jagapathi Babu is playing important roles in the films of top stars and he is making his presence felt in a big way. He is playing an important role in Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming film Republic which is racing for a grand release on October 1. Republic is directed by Deva Katta.

Jagapathi Babu is playing the role of a civil servant in the film. throwing more light he said “I have thoroughly enjoyed playing the role of a public servant; it was very liberating. The dimensions and layers of my role are something to watch out for. I want to thank Deva for writing such a character,’

He added”If every civil servant does his job perfectly, then I am sure the world will be a better place. India needs honest bureaucrats; most officers in the system are corrupt,” the actor says. “Just as a doctor is important for saving lives, every IAS officer is important for societal development; he’s like a messenger sent by God to serve the public,”

He continues “I have seen IAS officers like Jay Prakash Narayan garu (former IAS officer) since childhood; he’s been a great inspiration for many. He’s a man of values who always fought for a better society,”

About Sai Dharam Tej, he said it was “a cool experience” and added, “His energy is infectious.”
