Jacqueline Fernandez is one girl that oozes oomph from the word go. She is a sure-shot selection for films that need a good dose of glamour. Only recently, we have seen her in Dharmashala bonding with the team of Bhoot Police and also Kareena and Malaika when they were at the hill station.
The no-nonsense heroine has been roped in to play the lead opposite Akshay Kumar in Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming film Bachchan Pandey. Kriti Sanon is already part of the cast.
The action-comedy is being directed by Farhad Samji, has Akshay Kumar playing the role of a gangster who has dreams of becoming an actor. Arshad Warsi plays his friend in the film. Kriti Sanon is playing a journalist who also dreams of becoming a director someday.
As for Jacqueline’s character, it’s hush-hush for now. Incidentally, it will be her eighth film with Sajid Nadiadwala’s production house and it is almost her fourth film with Akshay Kumar. She was part of Judwaa and Housefull series with Sajid. She was seen in Brothers with Akshay Kumar, apart from acting in Housefull series with him.
Jacqueline has taken to social media and wrote she was super excited to be in happy place with the team and Akshay. Jacqueline will start shooting for Bachchan Pandey in January 2021, when she joins the team in Jaisalmer. Parts of the film will also be shot at Gadisar Lake and Jaisalkot.
For the uninitiated, the film is the 10th collaboration of Sajid Nadiadwala with Akshay Kumar.
