Jaathi Rathnalu has already generated enough interest thanks to its producer Nag Ashwin. The film is being made under Swapna Cinema and is being directed by Anudeep KV. Naveen Polishetty is playing the lead in the film.
The film is being promoted as a comedy drama and has Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Rahul Ramakrishna in other lead roles. The film has Murali Sharma, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore in other roles.
Naveen Polishetty, the team says, will entertain the audiences in a brand new avatar. Naveen Polishetty was first recoginised for his role in Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya and was later seen in Chhichhore alongside late Sushanth Singh Rajput.
Naveen Polishetty first came into limelight with the YouTube series All India Backchod. But that came after a lot of struggle and he hit big time with Agent Atreya.
From the look of it, it seems as if the film is about three friends all of whom land in prison and this leads to comic scenes between the rather directionless duo.
While Naveen Polishetty has himself become a decent crowd puller, the fact that the film is being made by the makers of Mahanati has also caused a lot of interest in the film.
