SS Rajamouli is currently fully dedicated to his upcoming international film, which features Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role. Despite KK Senthil Kumar having served as the cinematographer for most of Rajamouli’s films, he is not involved in Mahesh Babu’s project. There is speculation that Senthil may soon make his directorial debut, a move Rajamouli supported by wanting Senthil to helm Mahesh Babu’s film before venturing into direction.
However, negotiations hit a roadblock when Senthil’s remuneration demands shocked Rajamouli. Unwilling to meet such a hefty pay scale, Rajamouli ultimately chose to collaborate with PS Vinod for the cinematography, and the pre-production work is currently underway. Meanwhile, Senthil Kumar has embarked on his directorial journey, taking a break from cinematography for the time being.
The shooting for Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s film is scheduled to commence in mid-April. KL Narayana is producing the film, and MM Keeravani has been roped in to handle the music and background score.
