Samantha Ruth Prabhu who recently delivered a hit with Yashoda movie has shocked everyone by announcing that she’s been suffering from a rare disease called Myositis. It’s an autoimmune disease that is rare. Revealing her condition, the actress wrote:
A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realizing that we don’t always need to put up a strong front.”
“Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days… physically and emotionally… and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you,” she added.
Meanwhile, there’s news circulating for the past few days that Samantha’s health has turned critical. She decided to opt for Ayurvedic medicine as English medicine will have several side effects. However, there’s no official confirmation from the actress.
On the work front, Samantha will be next seen in a romantic drama Khushi featuring Vijay Deverakonda as the hero. Directed by Shiva Nirvana of Majili fame, the movie is expected to have a theatrical release next year.
