There was a time in the Telugu film industry when bold entertainers, featuring hugging, kissing scenes, and intimate sequences, were on the rise as a trend. However, during this period, Nagarjuna’s film “Manmadhudu 2” was released with high expectations but failed at the box office. One of the reasons for its failure was the inclusion of intense liplock scenes between Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet Singh.
As a result, Rakul’s career suffered a setback, and she stopped receiving offers in Tollywood due to her bold scenes with Nagarjuna. Prior to that, Rakul had been ruling the Telugu film industry, starring opposite top stars. Currently, she is focused on her Bollywood projects but still regrets losing opportunities because of those kissing scenes.
Rakul is reportedly angry with herself for doing those hot liplocks and intimate scenes with Nagarjuna. Presently, she is working in Kamal Haasan’s “Indian 2” and Sivakarthikeyan’s “Ayaalan.”
