Manchu Vishnu, the son of legendary actor and producer Mohan Babu, is known for his successful entrepreneurship in the Telugu film industry. However, despite being in the industry for over two decades, his movie career has yet to take off. The actor has often claimed that a single Friday release is enough to change his fortunes as a hero, but he has yet to score a blockbuster hit.
His recent movie, Ginna, had an average performance at the box office. Prior to Ginna, Vishnu was seen in Mosagallu, directed by Jeffrey Gee Chin, a Hollywood technician. Unfortunately, the movie bombed at the box office.
According to sources, Vishnu is trying to bring another Hollywood technician on board to direct his next movie, Chintamani, in which he won’t feature in a lead role. The movie is expected to begin shooting next month, and only time will tell whether Vishnu can finally achieve success in his acting career with this new venture.
