The makers of Dhandoraa unveiled the title song of the film at a media interaction attended by the cast, crew, distributors, and members of the press. Presented by Smt. Muppaneni Srilakshmi under the banner of Loukya Entertainments, the film is produced by Ravindra Benarjee Muppaneni and directed by Muralikant. Dhandoraa stars Shivaji, Navadeep, Nandu, and Bindu Madhavi in the lead roles. The film is set for a December 25, 2025 theatrical release, with early overseas premieres beginning December 23, 2025.
Opening the event, Editor Srujana Adusumilli thanked the media and everyone who graced the occasion. She said that while the title song itself is effective, the film is even more impactful than the song, and requested audiences to wait for December 25 and watch the film in theatres.
Music Director Mark K. Robin thanked everyone for attending and shared that the title song was the very first composition he worked on after listening to director Muralikant’s narration. He said the narration was extremely strong and that its impact directly translated into the song. He added that the film features a strong ensemble of actors and said it was an honour to be part of such a project.
Director Muralikanth thanked Mark K. Robin for delivering what he described as a “kick-ass song and a kick-ass album.” He revealed that the title song was composed immediately after the first narration and that the moment they heard it, they knew it was the right one. He added that the entire album has come out equally strong and mentioned that one more song from the film is yet to be released. He requested audiences to support the film in theatres if they liked the teaser, songs, and content released so far, and said the team would love to hear audience feedback.
Producer Ravindra Benarjee Muppaneni said he hoped everyone liked the title song and stated that the intent of the song is the intent of the film itself. He spoke about the many questions faced during the making of the movie and said that the confidence that audiences would support good cinema is what kept the team moving forward. He added that after the film was completed, Mythri Movie Makers’ Shashidhar Reddy, Prime Show Entertainment’s Niranjan Reddy, and Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures immediately came on board after watching the film, giving the team confidence that Dhandoraa had landed in safe hands for both domestic and international release. He also mentioned that the team is attempting early premieres in India along with the overseas premieres.
Actress Manika Chikkala thanked everyone for attending and said the film is ten times more impactful than the title song. She shared that she watched the song for the first time along with the audience at the event and felt deeply moved. Praising Mark K. Robin, she said he had “killed it” with the composition and added that she was extremely proud to be part of Dhandoraa.
Actor Ravi Krishna thanked the media for being supportive and helping the film reach a wider audience. He said Dhandoraa would be one of the most remarkable films of the year and noted that the buzz around the film has grown organically because of its content. Describing the title song as a “killer” track, he praised Mark K. Robin and expressed confidence that after the trailer release, audiences would automatically start looking forward to December 25.
Actor Nandu congratulated Mark K. Robin, stating that while the composer has delivered notable work earlier, this song truly announces his arrival. He also specially thanked lyricist Kasarla Shyam for the strength of the lyrics, noting that while the beats attract listeners, paying attention to the words reveals the true intent of the film. Addressing assumptions based on the title and visuals, Nandu clarified that Dhandoraa is a full commercial entertainer with humour, entertainment, and drama, while also addressing caste with balance and clarity. He praised director Muralikant for handling the subject effectively and thanked producer Ravindra Benarjee for backing such a film. He also acknowledged the support of Mythri Movie Makers, Prime Show Entertainment, and Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures for ensuring a solid release across territories and urged audiences to watch the morning show in theatres.
Representing the Nizam distribution side, Shashidhar Reddy of Mythri Movie Makers thanked the media and said Mythri was glad to be associated with the film. He stated that the decision to distribute Dhandoraa was taken immediately after watching it, impressed by its raw and hard-hitting content. He praised the performances of the entire cast and expressed confidence that audiences would like the film.
Addressing the gathering, Shivaji welcomed the media and social media influencers and described Dhandoraa as a deeply Telangana-rooted film. He said cinema ultimately works on emotion and commercial truth, not sermons or moral lectures. He stated that Dhandoraa has entertainment, emotion, drama, and aggression, and added that even the comedy and emotion in the film feel like Dhandoraa, making the title itself an emotion. Shivaji revealed that he committed to the film even before Court and described it as one of the strongest scripts he has heard since his re-entry into cinema. He said he did not choose the film for money but for the strength of its content and expressed confidence that the film would work in any language. Praising the way every character is written with dignity and self-respect, he said the whole country will talk about Dhandoraa. He encouraged early premieres in India as well and urged audiences to experience the film in theatres this Christmas.
The teaser had earlier hinted at this worldview through grounded rural imagery, native humour, and textured realism, culminating in the striking line “చావు అనేది మనిషి ఇచ్చే ఆఖరి మర్యాద.” That philosophical gravity now finds a fuller musical expression in the title song. In contrast, the earlier single “Pilla” revealed the film’s gentler emotional register. The song crossed 3.2 million views digitally, with its hook step trending widely across social media platforms, significantly expanding the film’s reach and visibility among younger audiences.
With its musical presence steadily growing and anticipation building, Dhandoraa has already translated creative momentum into solid trade confidence. The film has secured strong pre-release business across key territories. The Nizam rights have been acquired by Mythri Movies, while Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Ceeded territories are being handled by Prime Show Entertainment. Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures has locked the overseas distribution, ensuring a wide international rollout, while T-Series holds the audio rights, further strengthening the film’s musical reach. Dhandoraa is set for early overseas premieres from December 23, 2025, across 200+ theatres worldwide, ahead of its global theatrical release on December 25, 2025, positioning the film as a confident, content-driven year-end release.
