Suprisingly, it was announced that Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Allu Arjun would be collaborating on a film under the banner of Bhushan Kumar’s Bollywood production house. The project is expected to commence filming in 2025.
Sandeep Vanga is currently busy with Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and will begin Spirit starring Prabhas – both of which are yet to be released. Without even releasing of these films, Sandeep Vanga announcing a movie with Allu Arjun raised several doubts.
Allu Arjun had previously announced his involvement in films with several directors, including Lingusamy, Koratala Siva, and Venu Sriram’s Icon under the Dil Raju banner. However, despite the success of Venu Sriram’s Vakeel Saab, none of these projects came to fruition, despite being officially announced.
Allu Arjun has been seeking a prominent Bollywood production house to launch his debut in the Hindi film industry, and Bhushan Kumar was keen on having the Pushpa star join his banner. However, the announcement suggests that Allu Arjun will only commit to the project after the release and depending on the success of Spirit and Animal. Moreover, there are rumors that the film’s storyline has yet to be finalized.
One can only hope that Sandeep’s film will not meet the same fate as Allu Arjun’s Icon.
