After attaining Pan India fame with the movies Baahubali and RRR, star director SS Rajamouli is all set for his next movie which will be a Pan world movie. Featuring Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role, the movie is in the pre-production stage and likely to start rolling in the mid-2023.
Touted to be an adventure thriller, Mahesh Babu will be seen as a globe trotter in this lavish budget entertainer. We now have another interesting update on this highly anticipated movie. It’s heard that this Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu film is being developed as a franchise.
Rajamouli’s father and writer Vijayendra Prasad further shared that they are in the process of finalizing the script of the first part. When he was asked whether the film will have Sequels, Vijayendra Prasad in a recent interview said, “Of course. Sequels will follow.” He further added that while the story in these sequels will change, the central characters will remain the same.
On the other hand, Rajamouli had earlier revealed that there are chances of sequels to Baahubali and RRR movies as well. As Rajamouli’s movie takes more than two years, it remains to be seen whether Mahesh Babu can allocate bulk dates for the two parts.
