Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to work with Meher Ramesh for the Telugu remake of Tamil commercial potboiler, Vedhalam. The project will be hitting the floors after Chiranjeevi wraps up Acharya.
Reportedly, Meher Ramesh is making some subtle changes to the basic set-up of the film. The film is set out in Kolkata backdrop.
Vedhalam is mainly based on brother-sister relationship and same will be the case with the Telugu remake as well. The makers are currently finalizing the lead actors.
Chiranjeevi is apparently happy with the way the story shaped up and he is confident about the project. Meher Ramesh spent quite a lot of time on the project and this could be the golden ticket to his career back on track.
AK Entertainments will bankroll the project and it will be shot at a brisk pace. The film is scheduled to hit the silver screens by next summer.
