Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam are set to collaborate once again, marking a reunion after their iconic film ‘Nayakudu,’ which was released 36 years ago. Their upcoming project, tentatively titled ‘KH234,’ will be Kamal Haasan’s 234th film.
Mani Ratnam has commenced the casting process for this pan-Indian thriller, and the latest reports suggest that three prominent actors from the South Indian film industry have expressed their willingness to join the project. These actors are Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi, and the versatile pan-Indian star Dulquer Salmaan.
While there hasn’t been an official confirmation yet, sources indicate that all three actors have been approached and are inclined to accept their respective roles in the film. ‘KH234’ marks Mani Ratnam’s next endeavor after the successful Ponniyin Selvam franchise. The film will be jointly produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, G Mahendran, and Siva Ananth under the banners of Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies.
