The shooting for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is expected to resume from the month of November. Being directed by Koratala Siva, initially, the makers roped in Trisha as the female lead but even before joining the shoot, she opted out of the project.
Later, news came out that Khaidi No:150 girl Kajal Aggarwal has been roped for the same role. But as a sudden surprise, Kajal a few days ago unveiled that she is getting married on October 30, 2020. Ever since Kajal marriage announcement came out, news has been circulating among film circles is that she also may skip the project. Now, the latest buzz is that if Kajal also opts out of the movie, the makers are planning to bring Anushka Shetty onboard.
Acharya is being bankrolled by Ram Charan in association with Matinee Entertainments banner. Mani Sharma is the music composer.
