Hyderabad Commissioner Serious Of Film Makers

In a joint operation involving the Hyderabad Police and the Narcotics Bureau. Eight Nigerian individuals, including the son of a film producer and a former MP, were apprehended by law enforcement in Hyderabad.

During a press conference, City Police Commissioner CV Anand expressed his concerns about the recently released movie “Baby.” He criticized the film for its portrayal of drug use and urged the film industry to avoid showcasing such content. Commissioner Anand also announced the issuance of notices to the production team behind “Baby” and emphasized that the police would now closely scrutinize drug-related scenes in all films.

According to the police, the accused were found engaging in activities resembling those depicted in the film during a raid at a residential complex. They were reportedly hosting a party reminiscent of scenes from “Baby,” as stated by Commissioner Anand. He condemned the inclusion of such scenes in movies without prior warning and expressed his intention to send a notice to the producer of “Baby.” The police would be vigilant in identifying objectionable scenes in other films and take appropriate action.

Commissioner Anand specifically highlighted objectionable scenes from “Baby,” where Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s character, Sita, is shown consuming ganja and using a hookah to introduce the protagonist to a lavish lifestyle. The film also portrays a group of friends partying together with drug use.

Directed by Sai Rajes, “Baby” movie which was released on July 14th, achieved significant success at the box office.
