Music Director: Ghibran

It’s been over a decade since Sudheer Babu made his debut as a hero, but the actor couldn’t score a big hit to date. Though Prema Katha Chitram was a hit, the credit went to Saptagiri. Barring a few average grosses, a blockbuster is still eluding him. After several failed attempts, Sudheer Babu is back with the Hunt movie. Let’s see whether he can score the much-needed hit with this movie or not.

Story:

ACP Arjun Prasad (Sudeer Babu) and Aryan Dev (Bharat) are good friends and work in the police department. In a shocking event, Aryan Dev gets killed while accepting the gallantry award. While investigating the case, Arjun Prasad meets with an accident and loses his memory. His Boss the Commission of Police Mohan Bhargav (Srikanth) asks Arjun to lead the case without letting anyone know that he’s suffering from memory loss. Who killed Aryan Dev? Did Arjun solve the case? Did Arjun regain his memory? Watch the film to know the answers.

Verdict:

On the whole, Hunt is a decent action entertainer that engages in parts. Sudheer Babu is perfect as ACP and Srikanth along with Bharat supported him well. The investing angle is good and it’s a passable entertainer this weekend.
