Hrithik Roshan who was last in Yash Raj’s War has taken to social media to wish his cousin Pashmina Roshan. He says, “You are a STAR my dear Pashmina. On screen and off. Love you.”
Pashmina Roshan happens to be music director Rajesh Roshan’s daughter and an aspiring actress. Hrithik Roshan was all praise thanks to the video he posted alongside his wishes. In the video, we can see Pashmina in a bottle green choli and pink lehenga with a pink leheriya dupatta emoting for a Krishna raas-leela song Mohe Rang Do Laal. She barely has any accessories on her barring simple jhumkas and Pashmina does remind one of Radha. Her facial expressions are beautiful and one can only understand why her elder brother thinks she is a star in the making.
In fact, ever since news emerged that Pashmina will take up acting as her career, it is heard that Hrithik Roshan has been mentoring her. But Pashmina is no novice to acting per se. She has acted i the theatrical version of The Importance of Being Ernest by Jeff Goldberg. In Mumbai, she trained with Barry John’s acting school, which has been a mentoring ground for many a Bollywood actors.
Unlike Hrithik Roshan who was launched by his dad, Pashmina might not be launched from home. It is being said, she will sign a film with a different production house. To her credit, Pashmina has trained with Sahitya Academy recipient Nadira Babbar, Abhishek Pandey and US playwright Jeff Goldberg.
Rajesh Roshan, her father, as is known has provided music to some of Hrithik’s films.
