Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut had a public showdown a couple of years back, when Kangana Ranaut confessed to having had an affair, a short one, with Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan. Now, years later, the case is still on and the latest update is that Hrithik Roshan’s case has been transferred from cyber cell to crime branch CIU (Central Intelligence Unit).
At the time there were back and forth accusations, with Hrithik claiming that he never had an affair with Kangana and the latter accusing him of covering up the matter. During their public face-off, Hrithik Roshan said he received hundreds of emails from Kangana between 2013 and 2014. In the same manner, Kangana too accused Hrithik of writing emails to her.
However, Hrithik denied indulging in any correspondence and said some impersonator had used his email id to write mails to Kangana. He also filed a case with the Mumbai police in 2016. In 2017, Hrithik filed another case saying that Kangana Ranaut was harassing him, defaming him by making false accusations. Now, Hrithik had requested for the transfer of the case through his lawyer, Mahesh Jethmalani.
Now, with the latest development, Kangana could not keep to herself. She took to social media and wrote, “His sob story starts again, so many years since our break up and his divorce but he refuses to move on, refuses to date any woman, just when I gather courage to find some hope in my personal life he starts the same drama again, @iHrithik, kab tak royega ek chote se affair keliye?”
However, the latest development can mean some trouble for Kangana, as the CIU is likely to approach the case afresh and question Kangana in the process.
