Megastar Chiranjeevi, who was honored with the Padma Vibhushan, has commenced the latest schedule of his much-anticipated socio-fantasy epic, ‘Vishwambhara.’ Chiranjeevi has now joined the ongoing shoot, adding to the film’s fervor. Notably, the talented actress Trisha Krishnan, one of the female leads in the movie, also stepped onto the sets on February 4th.
Trisha took to her Instagram stories to share the news, posting a picture of flower bouquets from her vanity van with the caption, “To new beginnings 4/2/2024.” Accompanying her post was the music from her hit song in the 2006 Telugu film ‘Stalin,’ marking her first collaboration with Chiranjeevi after 18 years.
Returning to Telugu cinema after a decade, Trisha’s last direct Telugu film was Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Lion’ in 2014. Although her Tamil projects were dubbed and released in Telugu, her recent successes include ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1 & 2’ and the Vijay-starrer ‘Leo.’
‘Vishwambhara,’ directed by Mallidi Vashishta and produced by UV Creations, began filming in December. With music by Oscar Award winner MM Keeravani and cinematography by Chota K Naidu, the film is generating high expectations after the glimpse released a few days ago. The scheduled release date for ‘Vishwambhara’ is January 10, 2025.
