Later VV Vinayak was brought on board for the film along with the Paruchuri brothers, but even that director is said to have not been able to get a go-ahead from Megastar. According to the latest reports, Harish Shankar has been approached by Chiranjeevi, to direct the film.

We have already reported that Harish and Pawan are collaborating soon for a film. Pawan has planned a huge lineup of films to make as much money as possible before the next elections for which he will be needing funds. He was keen on doing Harish Shankar’s film but now may have to look for other options if Harish Shankar goes ahead and directs the Lucifer remake.

Megastar will decide if he has to go with the Vedalam remake with Meher Ramesh or the Lucifer remake after he wraps up Koratala’s Acharya.
