Guntur Karam Team’s New Strategy To Attract The Audience

After facing negative talk and witnessing empty screens from the second day of its release. The team behind Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram has taken a strategic step to reduce ticket prices in both Telugu states. The initial ticket hike application had impacted the film’s performance in Nizam, where the producers opted for a significant increase, leading to unfavorable word of mouth and reviews.

The decision to reduce ticket prices comes in the wake of the film not receiving positive reviews, which had been essential for the success of the initially proposed ticket hike. In Andhra, where the hike was relatively reasonable, the impact was not as severe. The team had initially applied the ticket hike for a duration of 10 days, but due to the film’s negative reception, the buyers are opting for normal prices from this Friday onwards.

While some exhibitors in certain stations are already implementing normal prices, it is expected that from this Friday, Guntur Kaaram will have uniform ticket prices across all stations. Directed by Trivikram, the movie features Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads, with a stellar cast including Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, Rao Ramesh, Jayaram, Ramya Krishnan, and other prominent actors. Backed by Haarika & Hassine Creations, the film’s music is composed by Thaman.
