Superstar Mahesh Babu is gearing up to bring the fiery action of “Guntur Kaaram” to the screens this upcoming Pongal. Directed by Trivikram, this film, which faced several challenges, has now wrapped up its shooting at a rapid pace. “Guntur Kaaram” is all set for a Sankranthi release, and the makers are determined to ensure it’s the only film to hit the screens during this festive season, regardless of other announced films.
Sree Leela plays the female lead role, while Meenakshi Chaudhary appears as the second female lead. Initially, Pooja Hegde was cast as the main lead, with Sree Leela in a supporting role. However, following Pooja Hegde’s exit from the project, Sree Leela has stepped into the lead heroine’s role.
The teaser and first look poster release generated significant excitement around the film. Currently, the team is shooting the climax scenes on a house set specially constructed at Annapurna 7 Acres studio. Alongside Mahesh Babu, the film features Ramya Krishna, Prakash Raj, and Rao Ramesh.
Reports suggest that “Guntur Kaaram” carries a suspense element right from the beginning, and it will be unveiled uniquely in the climax. Suryadevara Radhakrishna is producing the film, and Thaman is composing the music for this highly anticipated project.
