Rough Note Production’s ambitious Tamil–Telugu bilingual Gods and Soldiers, directed by acclaimed filmmaker and cinematographer Vijay Milton, has officially wrapped its principal photography. After an intense and power-packed shooting schedule spanning multiple locations, the team has successfully completed filming and is now gearing up for an extensive and meticulous post-production phase.
Mounted on a grand scale and driven by a strong emotional core, Gods and Soldiers promises to be a gripping cinematic experience that blends rooted storytelling with mass appeal—hallmarks of Vijay Milton’s filmmaking style.
The film boasts a stellar and diverse ensemble cast. Aari Arujunan will be seen in a never-before-seen cop role, bringing a fresh intensity to the narrative. Raj Tarun marks his Tamil debut with this project, adding youthful energy and cross-industry appeal. Bharath takes on a powerful emotional arc, while Ammu Abhirami and Kishore add depth with layered, performance-driven characters.
Adding to the film’s unique appeal, independent music sensation Vedan has also been featured in a special role in Gods and Soldiers. Known for his raw voice, socially charged lyrics, and massive youth following, Vedan’s presence is expected to bring a distinctive cultural and musical edge to the film’s narrative. His inclusion further strengthens the film’s contemporary connect and amplifies its emotional intensity.
Speaking about the completion of the shoot, director Vijay Milton expressed satisfaction and gratitude towards the cast and crew for their dedication and commitment. “This film demanded physical endurance and emotional honesty from everyone involved. We have pushed boundaries, and I believe the energy captured on screen will resonate strongly with audiences,” he shared.
With the filming now complete, the team has moved into post-production, focusing on editing, background score, sound design, and visual enhancement to ensure a technically rich and immersive theatrical experience. Given the scale and layered storytelling, the makers are approaching post-production with precision to retain the film’s rawness while elevating its cinematic impact.
Produced by Rough Note Production, Gods and Soldiers is shaping up to be a compelling blend of action, emotion, and socially relevant themes—crafted for audiences across Tamil and Telugu markets.
