The popular anchor ‘Sudigali’ Sudheer who tested his luck with ‘Software Sudheer’ and a few movies is out with another entertainer ‘Gaalodu’ movie. Let’s see whether he can deliver a hit this time or not.
Story:
Sudigali Sudheer is a vagabond with no seriousness in life. His villagers label him as ‘Gaalodu’ for the same reason. In unexpected situation, he gets into a fight with the son of village sarpanch and ends up killing him. After this incident, he runs away to Hyderabad. He helps the heroine once and she hires him as her driver. Eventually, they both fall in movie but her father opposes their love. Will Sudheer win his love or not is the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
Though the movie is a regular love story, Sudigali Sudheer’s performance makes it a bit more interesting. He is superb and has a solid screen presence. He shocked everyone with his dancing skills and fights.
The heroine Gehna Sunny is good in her role and her chemistry with Sudheer is good. Saptagiri and Shakalaka Shankar were good in their comedy roles.
Another biggest asset of the film is the music by Bheems Ciciroleo. The climax fight is styled well.
Minus Points:
The movie has absolutely no story and one cannot connect emotionally to it. The entire first rely on the hero’s introduction and his character establishment which will make the audience feel bored.
The director seems to have decided to present Sudheer as a mass hero but is taken to the extreme level and it looks over the top.
Verdict:
On the whole, Gaalodu is a routine and silly action drama that has nothing new to offer. Sudheer is the only solace as he is superb in his role. But sadly, the film falls flat in narration and becomes a tedious watch.
