Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield to join Tom Holland in upcoming Spiderman film

British star Tom Holland has been playing the Marvel superhero since 2016, following in the footsteps of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. The yet-to-be titled film, that has started shooting as confirmed by Tom Holland in his social media post, will be a big sensation if it is loaded with more stars.

Hollywood media has been reporting that Alfred Molina who plays Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx’s Electro will be playing the antagonists against Holland. But the big news that has got eyeballs rolling is the supposed entry of Maguire and Garfield.

In the past, Toby Maguire played Peter Parker in three films till 2007 and is now working out terms and conditions with the Marvel bosses and Sony. Meanwhile Garfield, who played Parker in Amazing Spider Man reboot in 2012 and its ill-fated sequel in 2014, is already on board.

But that’s not the only update from the wall-crawling hero’s world. Kirsten Dunst will reprise her role as Mary Jane and Emma Stone will be playing Gwen Stacey. Dunst last appeared in 2007 Spider Man 3.
