The film Ari was produced under the banner of ARVY Cinemas, presented by Ramireddy Venkateswara Reddy (RV Reddy). The producers are Srinivas Ramireddy, D. Sheshu Reddy Maramreddy, Dr. Thimmappa Naidu Purimetla, and Beeram Sudhakar Reddy, with Linga Gunapaneni serving as the co-producer.
The film features Vinod Varma, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sai Kumar, and Srikanth Iyengar in key roles. Directed by Jayashankarr, who earned recognition for his work on Paper Boy, this project brings his storytelling talent back to the forefront.
Ari was released worldwide on October 10th through Asian Suresh Distribution and has been receiving a strong response at the box office. Following its release, a success meet was held at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad.
Actor Vinod Varma shared, “I’m truly happy to see the audience response to our film Ari. Since it’s based on the concept of Arishadvargas (the six inner enemies in Hindu philosophy), I believed that at least one emotional element would definitely connect with viewers. Audiences have validated our belief by making the film a success.”
He added, “Director Jayashankarr, who gave me my breakthrough in Paper Boy, gave me the lead role in Ari, which helped me gain even more recognition. While performing this role, my only thought was whether I was doing justice to the character. I gave it my best to portray the role convincingly. Jayashankarr faced many challenges during the film’s production but managed to bring it to audiences successfully. I also want to thank my parents for recognizing my passion for acting and encouraging me – it’s because of them that I stand on this stage today.”

Director Jayashankarr said, “My heartfelt thanks to the audience who made Ari a success and to the media for the positive reviews and ratings. We expected the film to open slowly and gradually pick up momentum. However, on the second day, we were disheartened to see the film’s posters being torn down near theaters due to the Srikanth Iyengar issue. It was painful, especially after putting in so much hard work. Fortunately, the controversy settled quickly.”
He added, “From the third day onward, theaters started buzzing with audiences. Many great thinkers have spoken about the Arishadvargas, but no one really talks about how to overcome them. That thought became the foundation for Ari. Several films I’ve watched inspired me to develop this concept. We’ll also be releasing a book based on the film’s story soon. The movie will not be available on OTT platforms immediately – we’ll announce the OTT release date only after the theatrical run is complete.”
