Father-Son : There are many celebrities in Tollywood who are related, but not many movies with real life fathers and sons starring in them. The expectations mount up when a star hero and his son act in a movie together. This happened quite a few times in Tollywood, but, however, the results have been not as expected.
Senior NTR, and Balakrishna have featured in several movies like Akbar, Salim Anarkali, Brhamarshi Vishwamitra and a few have bombed at the box-office. Similary, ANR and Nagarjuna appeared in Agniputrudu, Iddaru Iddare and Collectorgari Abbayi. Except for Collectorgari Abbayi, the rest were disasters.
Krishna and Mahesh Babu’s Vamsi was too a colossal dud. Recently, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s combo too proved the same. Both Chiru and Charan appeared in Acharya which was released recently and turned out to be a massive dud. However, there are a few cases when the father-son duo combo resulted in success with movies like Manam, and Bangarraju.
