Esha Chawla of Prema Kavali fame is starring in a Punjabi film which happens to be her debut in her mother tongue. The film is a bilingual Kabir Lal and stars Kamal Kamaraju in the lead.
Esha is playing the role of a visually impaired person. Speaking about it, she said it is her most challenging role and the film is a remake of the Spanish thriller Julia’s Eyes.
She added “When Kabir Sir offered me the role, I thought the film would not go on the floors soon. But he called to say that we would start shooting from the next month, and that’s when I got serious about the prep,”
Esha revealed . “The emotional arch of the character and her responses to tricky situations in life almost took a toll on me psychologically,” She added “I practiced being blindfolded and listening to sounds. Reacting to situations based on sounds was very difficult,”
