Elite Cricket League Season-2’ Jersey Launched In The Presence Of Film Celebrities and Politicians

The jersey launch of Elite Cricket League (ECL) Season–2, to be held in March at Visakhapatnam under the aegis of the Chamala Foundation, was conducted in a grand manner on Wednesday at Vivanta Hotel, Bandar Road.

State Ministers Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, Kondapalli Srinivas, Vasanamsetti Subhash, along with popular television actor Prabhakar, attended the event as chief guests and ceremoniously unveiled the tournament jerseys.

Speaking on the occasion, Sports Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy said that organizing such a league inspired by the government’s prestigious P4 model is highly commendable. He highlighted that several developmental programs have been implemented across the state over the last 18 months and reiterated that uplifting the underprivileged remains the government’s core objective.

Industries Minister Kondapalli Srinivas lauded the efforts of the Chamala Foundation for working towards the welfare of soldiers. He announced that a ‘Political Team’ will also participate in this season and expressed confidence that the team of young ministers would emerge as champions.

Minister Vasanamsetti Subhash stated that promoting sports with a strong service-oriented vision is truly appreciable.

Chamala Foundation Chairman Chamala Uday Chander Reddy informed that ECL Season–1, held in Hyderabad last year, was a grand success, and Season–2 will now be organized in Visakhapatnam with six teams:

• Andhra Political Kings
• Tollywood Thunders
• Bullithera Rangers
• Media Masters
• Shiri Info Missiles
• Police Lions

He further stated that the funds generated through the tournament will be utilized for the welfare of soldiers and the development of families of martyrs.

The event was attended by Foundation Vice Chairman Bhanu Chander Reddy, Directors Ravinder Reddy, Sudheer Maicherla, Tarun, and representatives of Amigos Media, among others.
