A couple of months back, Mahanati makers announced a new project with LIE and Padi Padi Leche Manasu director Hanu Raghvapudi. The film stars Malayalam heart-throb Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that happening star heroine Pooja Hegde has been finalized as the female lead in the movie. As per the reports, Pooja has charged a hefty amount of₹2 crores as her remuneration for the film which is going to be made as Telugu-Malayalam bilingual.
Set in a war backdrop, the film is said to be the love story of an Indian Army Lieutenant named Ram.
This as-yet-untitled period film will go on floors from January. Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt will be bankrolling the film under Swapna Cinema banner.
