It’s already known that Nithiin’s next is titled Rang De. The film is being made by Sithara Entertainments and has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead opposite Nitthin. Like the title hints, the film appears to be yet another love lore for Nithiin, who is riding on the wave of success with almost back to back hits.
Giving a peep into Rang De, the team released a tune yesterday Emito Idi picturised on the lead pair. The film’s music is by Devi Sri Prasad and the two-line track is, we must confess, rather catchy and soulful. And good news for all DSP fans and Nithiin fans is that the team is planning to release the lyrical video on the evening of November 7. This number comes after the release of Uppena, another lilting song from the film.
Directed by Venky Atluri, the film appears to be a rom-com revolving around new-age marriages. A teaser was released to go with Nithiin’s real-life wedding and the promo was well-received by the audience. Just like Venkatesh and Varun Tej starrer F2 which was a huge hit and revolved around the theme of marriage, Rang De seems to have enough masala to have audience in splits.
Coming back to DSP, in keeping with the team’s promos, he posted a picture of two pigeons on his penthouse and wrote that they probably flew in to catch up on the romantic melodies he was composing.
Rang De is slated for a Sankranti 2021 release for now. While Keerthy Suresh has just had a release in Miss India, Nithiin has Check and Telugu remake of Ayushman Khurana’s Andhadhun in which Tamanna will be playing Tabu’s role.
