Shankar was once considered the biggest commercial director of Indian cinema. All his movies had Pan India appeal around 3 decades ago. However, the director had lost his mojo long back and some of his recent movies have become duds.
The director who is currently busy with Ram Charan’s movie and Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ seems to be eyeing the biggest multistarrer soon. As per the sources, Shankar is planning to rope in Bollywood star hero Ranveer Singh, Kollywood star Suriya and the latest sensation Yash for a multistarrer.
He is planning to make the movie in three parts and the story will be based on the famous Tamil novel ‘Velpari’. Shankar is likely to announce this project in the first half of the next year and the shoot might commence by the end of the year. However, there’s no official announcement from the director yet.
