Tollywood star producer Dil Raju had long hoped to work with Megastar Chiranjeevi, calling it a dream project. However, recent reports suggest that Dil Raju backed away from Chiranjeevi’s project due to disagreements over payment.
Director Anil Ravipudi had committed to working on a project with Dil Raju, and there were discussions about a storyline suitable for Chiranjeevi. Although Dil Raju had secured dates from Anil Ravipudi, negotiations with Chiranjeevi hit a roadblock when the Megastar reportedly asked for a significant fee of 70 crore. This financial demand seemed risky given the project’s market potential.
Due to concerns arising from overspending on a previous project, ‘Game Changer,’ Dil Raju chose to steer clear of further financial risks. Consequently, he appears to have shifted his focus from Chiranjeevi to Ravi Teja.
Anil Ravipudi, Dil Raju, and Ravi Teja had previously collaborated on ‘Raja The Great’ and are slated to team up again. However, there have been past issues with Ravi Teja’s compensation, leading to the cancellation of a planned project with him and director Gopichand Malineni. The future plans for this project involving Ravi Teja under Dil Raju’s banner remain uncertain, considering the previous payment disputes.
