Tollywood’s top producer Dil Raju has been given a key post by the Telangana government. He was appointed as the Chairman of Telangana Film Development Corporation. To this extent, Government Chief Executive Officer Shanti Kumari has issued orders. He will continue in this position for two years. Dil Raju’s original name was Venkataramana Reddy.
In 1990, he started his career as a distributor with the movie ‘Pelli Pantri’. Later he became a producer with the movie ‘Dil’. With the success of that film, his name became Dil Raju. He is producing films under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Apart from big budget films, they are also producing small films and providing opportunities to many people. Dil Raju recently announced that he is starting a new banner named Dreams to encourage newcomers to the industry.
A website will also be launched for this purpose. He is currently producing three films. The big budget film ‘Game Changer’ produced by the top director Shankar and Ram Charan combination will be released on January 10, and the film ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunnam’ directed by Anil Ravipudi starring Venkatesh will be released on January 14. Along with these, Dil Raju is producing the movie ‘Thammudu’ under the direction of Venu Sriram.
