Star producer Dil Raju has a stronghold in distribution in the Nizam area and he owns the majority of theatres in Telangana. He was often accused of not allotting the theatres to small movies. Now, the producer is all set to give a big shock to star heroes Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna.
Chiranjeevi’s Waltari Veerayya and Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy are set for a grand release for Sankranthi. As Dil Raju’s Varasudu, the dubbed version of the Tamil movie Varisu is getting released around the same time, he has allotted the majority of theatres to his movie.
With the major number of theatres going for Varasudu, the fans of Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are worried and requesting the producers of these movies to do something to get a good number of theatres to those movies.
Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi’s movie clashed with Sankranthi on several occasions. The last time their movies clashed at the box office during Sankranthi was in 2017. Chiranjeevi’s comeback movie Khaidi No 150 and Balakrishna’s 100th Movie Gautamiputra Satakarni got released for Sankranthi in 2017. While Chiranjeevi’s movie was a blockbuster, Balakrishna’s movie was an average hit. Interestingly, this time Shruti Haasan played the heroine in Waltari Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy movies.
